NIJ HOLDS COOKING COMPETITION 2015

Winner of the NIJ cooking competition 2015 Oyedokun Gbemisola (middle)

 The Nigerian institute of journalism holds her first cooking comepitition during its 2015 annual student week.

The event which took place in the school auditorium on Thursday had in attendance members of the staff as judges.

Although, the cooking competition had only two contestants, Oyedokun Gbemisola an ND2 student and Ganiyu Rasheedat an HND1 student.

The two contestants were timed and prepared their food within the duration of one hour allocated to them.

The first contestant Gbemisola prepared “Amala and Egusi with Vegetable” while Rasheedat prepare “Vegetable and Semo”.

Gbemisola emerged the winner of the competition with a star price of 4000 naira with gift and Rasheedat second place with 3000 naira.
